Nordstrom Summer Fashions

We're Baaaaack!!! (Once again!)
And it's time to discuss this Summer's Fashions!
We made a trip to Nordstrom this time around.

Here we have an oversized cropped poncho-top with bat wings for sleeves. The stripes are a little too bold for such a baggy-saggy short top. The shorts are a 'little' on the short side as well.

Here we have another saggy and unflattering tank top shirt thing. It even comes with pockets that are located in an unusual place. (10 points if you can find the pockets!)

Hey look! Another baggy shirt with huge sleeves! I guess you can say baggy and cropped shirts are in this summer...yuck! Only a handful of women could barely make this shirt look semi-chic.

Finally a shirt that is NOT saggy, baggy, cropped, or has bat wings for sleeves!! The only problem with this tank top is the fringe. I guess one could wear this if they were going to a rodeo or if they were going out for a ride on their bad-to-the-bone Harley Davidson, especially if they want to see their fringe/tassles blowing in the wind.

Ah yes. The joys of what you find on the clearance racks. This wrap sweater-vest shress (shirt dress) is truly one-of-a-kind; from the dull gray color to it's awkward length. It looks more like a snuggy gone wrong.

This sweater was probably one of the better finds. The only problem you ask? Look how it gets shorter in the front. Why not just have it be a normal sweater that is all one length? People these days trying to re-invent the sweater, my goodness!

We're Back!!!

Long time, no see! We are back in business - the fashion business that is. We took a special trip today in search of some freak and some chic clothing examples that will make your jaw drop in horror and in awe.

We'll start with some chic examples. This shirt is a winner! This dark blue color complements my dark hair and eyes. Modest is hottest, and this shirt has class. The sleeves are long enough and it looks great with a white cami underneath. You can certainly try other colors too, be creative! With a tie in the back, and you'll be looking slim and fine.

This coat - although it matches her shoes PERFECTLY - is a NO and let me tell you why. The shoulders are too wide and the bottom hem flares out too much. Sad, I know. Cute patter, but it needs to fit your body type.

This white shirt, fits great and has a great ruffel up top. But its not a winner because it is too long. AKA: Shress. Way Too Long. Every girl needs a good white shirt in their wardrobe though. Its a must.

If this shirt was shorter, and the coat slimmer, then they would both be chic.

But they're not. :(
Feminine bowtie?

I think not.

Mandarine collars are cute, but a tie attached? Really?

The scrunch bottom is cute too. Sometimes.

Bootylishous.

That is all.
Where to begin?

If you're looking to go back to the 90's, this jacket is a keeper.

And if you want to go back even further, these tidye-wanna-be pants would be the fad in the 60's.

Groovy baby, ya!

But just leave them in the on the shelf. And don't look back.

Leave the past where it belongs.
These bad boys are another story.

You can't go wrong with a pastels pink, or- as we like to put it- 'badazels' on the pockets to draw in the eye.

Not.

The shirt is cute though.
Are you serious?
If you feel like singing 'La cucaracha' while wearing any item of clothing, PLEASE put it back.

Trust me.
Matching!!
:)
Awww.
Too short?

Too bad.

Remember what I said about time travel?

80's counts too.

This pink stripped black dress is a nope.

Awww.

We were so bumbed that this dress was too short!! :(

Ya. I'm cool.

Not so cool actually.

It has to zip up.

No exceptions.

Enough said.

This is her wild side!

It has pockets!!!!
